I am so excited to announce that we have from Australia, Linda Collins, author of the book Treasurers from the Barn coming to teach two classes for us in May. She is a quilt maker, teacher and collector of antique quilts.
Built in the 1840s, the historic Buttergilt Building is home to the Quilt Foundry. Today, the structure retains much of its original appearance and materials, and since the early 1980s has welcomed a variety of tenants, including the Quilt Foundry. It is believed to be the area’s oldest factory structure still in commercial use.
