Quilting 101 Winter
(morning session)
Are you interested in learning how to make a quilt? Maybe you want to brush up on the basics? Join this class taught by Sue and you will learn all the basics while making your very own 9 block sampler quilt. Stop by the shop and we will have fabric bundles to choose from! Finsihed quilts will include sashing, borders and cornerstones.
Supplies: sewing machine (you must know how to thread and operate your machine) & basic sewing supplies, fabric and pattern will be purchased separately. Fabric and supply list can be picked up prior to class.

Built in the 1840s, the historic Buttergilt Building is home to the Quilt Foundry. Today, the structure retains much of its original appearance and materials, and since the early 1980s has welcomed a variety of tenants, including the Quilt Foundry. It is believed to be the area’s oldest factory structure still in commercial use.
Everywhere you look, you will find quilts on display at The Quilt Foundry!
