Holland Pouch

Join Glenda for a Holland Pouch work day! Basic sewing skills are needed to participate. Please have all of your pieces cut and prepared prior to class. This will help ensure that you will leave with a finished pouch.  Glenda will guide you through the steps to make this cute travel tote in an "open sew" based class. She will share her knowledge, tips and tricks in making this pouch! Pick your size, buy your pattern and supplies and join us!


Supplies: sewing machine, thread, pins or clips, snips, heat away marking pen, zipper foot and walking foot (helpful, but not necessary) Feel free to pack a tidy snack!

This bag is absolutely the best!! I have carried mine to speaking engagements, camping and back and forth to the shop!  It is adorable, practical and sew much fun to make!! Join Glenda on the 9th to make your very own!!


YOU MUST HAVE YOUR SQUARES SEWN TOGETHER and FUSED TO YOUR BOASAL PRIOR TO CLASS.



Having your squares sewn and fused will allow you to use class time with Glenda to construct the bag.



Supplies:  sewing machine (you must know how to thread and operate your machine) & basic sewing supplies, fabric and pattern will be purchased separately.

Built in the 1840s, the historic Buttergilt Building is home to the Quilt Foundry. Today, the structure retains much of its original appearance and materials, and since the early 1980s has welcomed a variety of tenants, including the Quilt Foundry. It is believed to be the area’s oldest factory structure still in commercial use.


Everywhere you look, you will find quilts on display at The Quilt Foundry!
