Do you have a serger, but have never taken the time to learn how to use it? This class is for you! Londa will cover the basics that will get you started on yoiur serger journey! The first class will help you understand and become familar with your machine, threading and a basic stitches. The second class will put your knowedge to use as you create a small zipper pouch!
Supplies: serger, threading instructions (please make sure serger is threaded prior to class), 4 different colors of serger thread, tweezers and basic sewing supplies.

Welcome 2026! Londa has lots of new techniques and projects she is ready to share! Serger Club is a demo event so there is no need to bring your machine. Londa will share her knowledge and creativity to inspire you to work beyond your comfort zone to create beautiful serger projects. Class fee includes project demonstration and instructions for presented technique. Make sure to bring your show and tell projects!!

Join Londa to expand your Serger 101 knowledge and make a beautiful tote bag that encompasses multiple techniques and stitches! Project will include: flatlock strip joints, cover piping, puffing strips, braided handles. zipper/slip pockets, and maybe even an option for embroidery!!!!!!
Prerequisite: Serger 101, students must be very comfortable with threading and using their serger

Built in the 1840s, the historic Buttergilt Building is home to the Quilt Foundry. Today, the structure retains much of its original appearance and materials, and since the early 1980s has welcomed a variety of tenants, including the Quilt Foundry. It is believed to be the area’s oldest factory structure still in commercial use.
